GIVING YOU ADVICE AND TIPS TO BE SUCCESSFUL
DO YOU LISTEN WHEN YOU SPEAK?
Achieving goals is not an easy task. In order to accomplish our goals, we can
follow a guide, write them down, think about what we want. However, if we
really want to accomplish our goals, we need to think about our overall be-
ing. Thinking positively and having a wonderful attitude towards everyone
and everything around us will help us reach our goals.
One way to achieve happiness and reach our goals is by carefully select-
ing the language that we speak. Yes, I am referring to the use of language as
words can be beneficial or harmful, depends how you use them. Using cer-
tain words in your vocabulary can help you in shaping your mind and attract-
ing what you want.
How does it work?
There are certain words that the mind recognizes as positive words instead
of dwelling on negative feelings. Those feelings can bring you down. For
these reasons, try using or substituting the following words:
“Yes, and…”
When someone asks you a question and you want to decline, you can an-
swer with “Yes, and” instead of “Yes, but…” or “No”. The reason for this is
that your mind opens up to more possibilities. For example, if your friends
ask you if you want to see them and you are not sure you want to see them
that day, you can answer “Yes, and I would love to go out with you to dinner,
how about next week?” By doing this, you open up yourself to wider ac-
ceptances instead of closing them down.
DO YOU LISTEN WHEN YOU SPEAK?
“Should”
Using the word “should” creates a sense of what aspirations you want to do.
Saying, “I should eat healthier” generally follows a negative statement of “
but I really like sweets…”. Therefore, avoiding the negative statement is key
in our vocabulary. Instead of saying what you should or should not do, focus
on the actual benefit of why you want to eat healthier. You can say “I feel
alive and happier when I eat healthier as I have more energy.” This way, you
are able to focus on the positive feeling and your emotions instead of bring-
ing you down with the things that you should or should not do.
Some words that you can use to express your emotions instead of using
“should” include:
I enjoy
I want to live with
I feel
It would be beneficial
I am feeling
I am enjoying
“Wonderful”
Replacing the word “good” or “fine” with “wonderful” can be beneficial.
When someone greets you and says, “how are you?”, you can answer
“wonderful” and feel the impact of the word. Of course, you need to be sin-
cere in order to understand it. The word “wonderful” is capable of changing
your state of mind while at the same time, can open up your overall being to
a different type of environment where you enjoy the world and think positive.
HOW WILL YOU CHANGE YOUR LIFE?
It is very difficult to use these words in our day-to-day lives and it requires
time and commitment to watch what we have to say. Give it a shot! See what
happens and how you feel after implementing those simple words.
It’s great to know how to improve your life. However, change does not hap-
pen by chance. You make it happen!

can also corrupt
